I bought a cheap indoor fountain at a yard sale, part of it is missing but it works. The habitat is partially under the carport. I have protected all the wiring from the weather by putting it inside PVC pipe and using an outdoor outlet with some sort of breaker system. I also unplug all of it during storms. Is this OK? What else do I need to do? Thanks for answers! It is just above surface of the pond and tilted so all water that runs over goes to the side farthest from wires. Wiring is protected but also unplugged most of the time, I just have it on when I can enjoy it. It has an underwater light too.

a water fountain for inside like for a big whirlpool/garden tub? maybe one to sit on the egde of the tub that is self contained. i have already googled it and can't really find much other than normal tabletop or outdoor fountains. plus, i don't want to spend thousands of bucks for a wall fountain, just want something simple for relaxation.
