I have 6 table top fountains. At my old house I ran them almost every day. I have since moved and kept them pack for the last year because I have been SO busy I have not been able to decorate. I notice that there are serious deposits from water in the bottom of them. I really want to remove them. I have looked online and found many people recommend vinegar or CLR for these types of things. My concern is there is rubber tubing that carries the water and there is also deposits in them. I want something that I can run through the fountains to make sure all the deposits are out of all the areas. I am afraid both CLR and vinegar will eat through the tubing. I did read the instruction manuals for them all and found no help. Does anyone know what I should use?

Hi, I love table top fountains and have put one behind my kitchen sink. Now I have a film of some sort that I cant seem to get off of the faucets or the counter top. Any suggestions?

My brother is incredibly clumsy, so an electric table fountain is not an option. He'd knock it over, get water in the outlet, and start a fire. I need (preferably small) battery operated table fountains that won't break the bank. Anyone know where I can get one? Thanks for the help!

I bought a cheap indoor fountain at a yard sale, part of it is missing but it works. The habitat is partially under the carport. I have protected all the wiring from the weather by putting it inside PVC pipe and using an outdoor outlet with some sort of breaker system. I also unplug all of it during storms. Is this OK? What else do I need to do? Thanks for answers! It is just above surface of the pond and tilted so all water that runs over goes to the side farthest from wires. Wiring is protected but also unplugged most of the time, I just have it on when I can enjoy it. It has an underwater light too.
